Echoes of Invasion: Fresh Prince of South Tow-air

Upon learning some more of Alric’s history, Tric’s player composed this ode set to the tune of the opening credits of Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

This is the story, all about how,
My hand got chopped off, cut right down.

So I’d like to take a moment while you’re sitting right there,
To tell you how I moved to South Tow-air.

In western Weldyn born and raised;
The alleyways where I spent most of my days.

Chillin’ out, basking, relaxing all cool.
I failed apothecary but I ain’t a fool.

When a couple of guards who were watching us good,
Caught us making trouble in the neighborhood.

I lost one little limb, and my mom got scared,
Said, “You’re moving to your Uncle Damal’s, in Tow-air!”

I whistled for Aderyn, and when she came near,
Her beak was freshly bloody, but smelled like beer.
If anything, I could say for this bird I care!

And I thought, yeah, let’s go
Home to South Tow-air!

I strolled up to Damal’s about 7 or 8,
Called out to the man, “Yo’ holmes, smell ya later!”

Moved to the tavern, I was finally there.
To stand at my bar, here in South Tow-air.
